Privacy.
Worthivo needs no account. It collects your email address only if you choose the newsletter; traffic measurement and optional analytics are explained below.
Traffic measurement and your choice
Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every page. Its beacon sends page-view and performance measurements to Cloudflare. Cloudflare states that the beacon uses no cookies or other browser storage and discards the source IP address at the nearest data centre rather than storing it in its core databases or logs. See Cloudflare’s RUM privacy information (opens in a new tab).
Google Analytics is optional. It remains unloaded and sets no measurement cookie until you make a choice. If you close the panel without choosing, no Google Analytics event is sent. Google advertising personalization stays disabled in every case.
Optional Microsoft Clarity recordings
The unticked Include Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and masked session recordings option is separate from Google Analytics. If you select it and choose Allow analytics, Microsoft Clarity receives page interactions, clicks, scrolling, layout and device/browser information to help Worthivo identify confusing navigation and improve review readability. Choosing Also cross-device disables Clarity, even if its box was checked: we do not combine replay with Google advertising-storage signals. Session replay reconstructs activity on Worthivo; it does not record your camera, microphone or other browser tabs.
Clarity stays unloaded until that separate opt-in. Existing Google Analytics consent does not enable it. Worthivo masks page content before loading Clarity, and Clarity also masks inputs and dropdown values. Worthivo does not identify you by name, email, subscriber ID or order details in Clarity. Its first-party cookies, including _clck and _clsk, can connect consenting visits. We send Microsoft advertising-storage consent as denied and do not connect Clarity to advertising accounts.
For this initial setup, recordings are excluded on decision tools, subscription confirmation and private/noindex pages, on URLs containing query parameters or a fragment other than a link to a section of the same page, and when the referring URL contains query parameters. Global Privacy Control also prevents Clarity loading. These exclusions mean Clarity is a partial, consented sample, not a total visitor count or evidence of a sale.
Uncheck the recording option in Privacy choices and save with an analytics button, or choose No thanks to withdraw both optional tools. If Clarity has loaded, the page reloads to stop its script; accessible first-party Clarity cookies are removed. Withdrawal does not erase earlier collected data. Microsoft processes the permitted data under its own Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab). This notice describes our settings, not a guarantee of anonymity.
Your Google Analytics choices
Allow analytics only. Google Analytics receives page and event information: which review or guide you visited, whether its verdict or decision section entered the viewport, which internal decision link or disclosed retailer link you chose and where on the page it sat, the referring page, device and browser details, and approximate location. This uses analytics storage only.
Also allow cross-device. Everything above, plus Google signals. This additionally allows an advertising cookie and lets Google associate your visit with your signed-in Google account so that a reader arriving on a phone and later on a laptop can be recognised as one person, and so that aggregated age, gender, and interest categories become available in reporting. It applies only if you are signed in to Google and have turned on Ads Personalization in your own Google account.
No thanks. Neither optional Google Analytics nor Microsoft Clarity loads, and neither sets a measurement cookie or receives Worthivo events. The automatic Cloudflare measurement described above still runs.
Google signals, stated plainly
Worthivo’s Google Analytics property has Google signals enabled, and it takes effect only for readers who choose Also allow cross-device. Where it applies, Google may use its own signed-in account data to link sessions across devices and to model the aggregated demographic and interest categories Worthivo sees in reporting. Worthivo sees grouped reporting, not a named individual.
You can control this at Google’s own level, independently of Worthivo, through My Ad Center (opens in a new tab) and your Google account data controls (opens in a new tab). You can also block Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab). Turning Ads Personalization off in your Google account stops Google signals applying to you anywhere, including here.
Location and device detail
Granular location and device data collection is enabled on the property. Where regional rules allow it, this means the city-level location and the device model details Google derives from your request and browser are available in reporting rather than a coarser summary. Worthivo does not receive or store your precise GPS location, and never asks your browser for it.
Newsletter email
Worthivo has no account creation, comments, checkout, or contact form. If you voluntarily submit a Weekly Skip subscription form, the email address you enter is sent directly to Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Kit stores and processes it for Worthivo to confirm and manage your subscription, send the welcome message and weekly editorial email, and honour unsubscribes. Worthivo uses that address for the newsletter you requested and does not sell it. Kit describes its subscriber-data safeguards in its GDPR guidance (opens in a new tab).
Every subscription asks you to confirm by email, and every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You may also ask Worthivo to access, correct, or delete your subscriber record by writing to the contact address below.
Email and analytics stay separate
The subscription form posts directly to Kit. Worthivo does not put the email field or its value into Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics. Outside that voluntary form, the site does not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, free text, Amazon order details, or checkout data.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Choose Privacy choices in any footer to change your decision or withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it. Moving to a narrower choice removes the first-party Google Analytics cookies this site can reach and applies the reduced permission; declining stops Worthivo events entirely. Withdrawing does not undo measurement that already took place before you withdrew.
Legal basis and your rights
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, Worthivo relies on your consent for the optional Google Analytics choices and for the newsletter subscription you request. Where the CCPA or CPRA applies to you, the cross-device choice may amount to “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, which is why it is presented as a separate, unticked, opt-in choice rather than bundled into a single button. Declining, or simply never choosing it, is the opt-out.
You may ask what subscriber information Worthivo holds through Kit, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw newsletter consent through any unsubscribe link, or object to processing by writing to the contact address below. Analytics information does not map to a Worthivo account; Google’s own controls, linked above, apply to information held by Google.
Hosting
The site is delivered through Firebase Hosting. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information, including your IP address, as needed to deliver and protect the service, subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy practices. This is necessary to serve the page and is not part of the optional measurement described above.
External links
Worthivo links to merchants and evidence sources. When you follow an external link, that site receives the request and applies its own privacy practices. Amazon links carry Worthivo’s Associate tag for commission attribution, as described in the affiliate disclosure.
Service providers
Kit processes voluntary newsletter subscriptions for Worthivo. Cloudflare processes the automatic privacy-first traffic and performance measurements described above. Consent-controlled Google Analytics measurement is processed in the Google Analytics property linked to the Worthivo Firebase project. Each provider applies its own terms and privacy practices to the information it processes.

Last updated
. Following a link to a section of the same page, such as a numbered source, no longer stops Clarity. Choosing No thanks now reloads the page and removes Google Analytics cookies set for any worthivo.com address, and a choice made in one tab applies to the others. The separate, optional Microsoft Clarity choice, masking and recording exclusions were added on September 16, 2026. Kit, Cloudflare and the Google Analytics choices remain as described above.
