Research earns the place. Discussion only breaks ties.
Substantial public discussion is what puts a product in front of Worthivo, and nothing more. A marketing budget buys discussion; so does a seeded unit, an influencer window, or a commission-paying marketplace. Attention earns an investigation. It never earns a place on this list.
The pick is chosen only from products that passed research that week, or whose earlier verdict had every source re-checked that week, and that came out Worthivo Recommended, or Worthivo Conditional with the condition stated. Where more than one qualifies, continued positive discussion through the week decides between them—a tiebreaker among products already verified, never the reason one was picked. A week where nothing qualifies produces no pick.
Worthivo has hands-on tested nothing and says so on every review. Each finding is what a named source reported on a stated date, kept separate from Worthivo’s judgment, and no figure on any Worthivo page implies that Worthivo surveyed or aggregated owners.
A pick keeps its place here even if we later change our mind about it. If the evidence turns, the entry stays on the list carrying the new verdict rather than quietly disappearing.
