Roborock Qrevo Curv review: everyday cleaning, with clear limits

Useful for everyday vacuuming and mopping

Worthivo Conditional: a yes for everyday cleaning, a no for the buyers named below. RTINGS' tests, TechRadar's November 2024 home review and Tom's Guide's February 2025 test support it for cleaning that saves you work: hard-floor pickup, mopping and ordinary upkeep on mixed floors. [4] [5] [6]

Pseudonymous owner accounts, each one person's experience, add longer use. On r/Roborock, an owner of about a year described useful hair handling and kitchen mopping, alongside dock and map trouble; a second owner in that thread reported six months without those problems. On r/RobotVacuums, an owner of more than a year described useful scheduled daily cleaning, alongside a repair. [7] [8] [17]

RTINGS carries shopping links; TechRadar and Tom's Guide, both from the publisher Future, carry affiliate links. These Reddit owners show no sales link or review incentive; Worthivo weighed them with the tests. The verdict covers the original 18,500 Pa Curv on Roborock's US product page, which a Roborock support page sets apart from the S5X. Embedded carpet hair and high pile: where it falls short

Less brush tangling is not the same as pulling hair out of carpet. RTINGS found larger carpet debris came up better than fine or embedded hair. Tom's Guide found heavy dog hair on carpet the exception to otherwise good results, and set it apart from everyday stray hair. An r/Roborock owner wrote in August 2026, after months of use, that hair stayed in the carpet. [4] [6] [11]

High pile has a firmer line. Roborock's landing page advertises deep cleaning on mid-to-long-pile carpet, but page 5 of its US manual says not to use the robot on high-pile carpet. Worthivo follows the manual: if you need high pile cleaned, skip this model rather than buy it to experiment. These limits are why the verdict is Conditional, not Recommended. Don't count on it to steer around cords and pet accidents

RTINGS found its recognition of low hazards inconsistent, and TechRadar's November 2024 review warned against trusting it to avoid pet mess. The owner of more than a year wrote on r/Roborock that it can still climb cables it does not recognize, despite otherwise useful navigation. In July 2026 an owner on the Better Business Bureau's site described cord trouble and a pet-waste incident after a couple of months; Roborock replied offering support. [4] [5] [16] [21]

Two more accounts agree, with less weight. A video creator on r/Roborock reported repeated stops on cords, rug fringe and floor transitions over more than two weeks, then returned it; the post links their own video. A four-month owner described trouble with cords and shoelaces in an incentivized Best Buy review in August 2026. [9] [12]

Roborock's US manual asks you to clear cords and loose items and to supervise the first run, and its landing page says recognition depends on object size and accuracy varies. That preparation is normal use, not a cure. If the robot must run unattended where cords or pet accidents may lie, it is the wrong buy. The dock and longer ownership: useful, but not care-free

Two r/Roborock owners reported dock trouble: the owner of about a year kept emptying dust by hand, and the August 2026 owner described pet-hair clogs and hand-emptying. Other accounts differ. The six-month owner reported none of those problems; a four-month owner described useful dog-hair cleaning and mopping in an incentivized Best Buy review in October 2026; and the tests describe useful automation. Some longer-term owners reported repairs. The owner of more than a year said they sent the robot for service over wheel and side-brush trouble. On Roboter-Forum, a German site, an owner wrote in March and April 2026 that the side brush stopped turning after sixteen months; they suspected an update, then a mechanical fault, and sent it for repair. The owner of about a year also reported losing saved maps. One r/Roborock owner who reported weaker pickup later traced it to a wrongly seated brush cover, which answers that account alone. Why still a yes? The dock, map and repair reports rule out care-free ownership but do not outweigh the cleaning evidence. The two hand-emptying reports come from one forum and sit against an owner and tests describing working emptying; the map, repair and software reports differ in symptom and cannot be pooled into one fault. One reply in an r/Roborock firmware thread blamed an update for worse hard-floor behaviour, and a September 2026 GitHub issue naming version 02.28.92 concerns a third-party integration, not cleaning.
